ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

 Mousehole Films Ltd., as a micro, independent film       company, recognises that it has a responsibility to the   environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements.

 We are committed to reducing our environmental impact   and continually improving our environmental   performance, as an integral part of our business strategy.

 Responsibility

 Caroline Strong, Creative Director, is responsible for   ensuring that this environmental policy is implemented   and is fully supported in these aims and objectives by the   companies’ remaining co-directors –

 Policy Aims

 To improve and monitor our environmental performance.

 To improve and reduce our environmental impact.

 To be proactive in educating ourselves and others, on the   latest guidelines for best practice in environmental   issues:  both through our online and broadcast content   and in the execution of our work and day to day   behaviours.

 Paper

 We have undertaken to –

  - minimise the use of paper in our home office.

  - reduce packaging to a minimum.

  - utilise recycled, recyclable and FSC sourced                           materials in our card stock and DVD packaging and               utilise zero plastics.

  - reuse and recycle whenever possible.

 Energy & Water

 We have undertaken to –

  - limit the amount of energy we use when working                  from our home office.

  - switch off lights, standby lights, and electrical                        equipment, when not in use.

  - reduce heating to a minimum with energy                               consumption in mind.

  - use water efficiently, turn off taps etc.

  - take energy consumption and efficiency into account           when buying new equipment.

  - purchase refurbished equipment where possible.

 Transportation

 We have undertaken to ensure that

  -  we travel to shoot locations and screenings in our               EV, which is maintained in good working order to                 ensure ongoing efficiency.

  -  we reduce the need to travel for meetings by                         utilising travel alternatives such as email and                         video/phone conferencing.

 Maintenance & Cleaning

 We have undertaken to use eco-friendly cleaning agents   in our home office and vehicle.

 Monitoring

 We have undertaken to -

  -  continually improve and monitor our environmental             performance.

  -  continually monitor and reduce our environmental               impact.

  -  always make consideration of environmental factors,           when making business  decisions   

 Culture

 We hope to foster a culture of responsibility through our   online and broadcast content, in the areas of natural   history, environment and ecology.

 We also endeavour to lead by example in our work ethos   and personal stewardship.
